BIRIGHITTI SIGNS ON AT THE JETS FOR ANOTHER TWO SEASONS

With the A-League season fast approaching, it wasn’t just the team photo that caused the Newcastle Jets to smile this afternoon.
The club has announced that keeper and reigning player of the year Mark Birighitti has re-signed, with the 22-year-old locked in until the end of the 2015/2016 season.
In another boost, Michael Bridges has pulled up well from a suspected groin strain and will be fit to train next week, ahead of the round one clash with Sydney next Friday.
