SEAGULLS’ SCORING SPREE AGAINST HUNTERS BUMPS THEM TO SECOND PLACE

In the QRL, the Seagulls went on a scoring spree against Papua New Guinea.

Tweed led 32-nil going into the second half.

The Hunters had a big finish, scoring four tries in a row before full time, but it wasn’t enough to overthrow the ‘Gulls, who are now second on the ladder.

Meanwhile, the Burleigh Bears had a win yesterday, taking down the Mackay Cutters.

It was an important victory for the Bears, moving them into sixth place.
