Disgraced Liberal MPs Tim Owen and Andrew Cornwell have been forced to quit the New South Wales Parliament, following another extraordinary day at the corruption commission.
Mr Owen sensationally admitted he kept a $10,000 donation from a property developer – future Newcastle Lord Mayor Jeff McCloy – less than 24 hours after swearing under oath that he gave the money back.
