Painted rocks on the Hastings River southern breakwall in Port Macquarie will be moved over the next few days, while repairs to the wall are undertaken.
Funded by the state government, $275,000 will be used to stabilise the wall which has degraded from storm damage.
Almost 3-tonne of new rock will be used.
The work is expected to be finished in three weeks.
