A southerly tracked up the coast triggering showers mostly across the Hunter this morning.
Tomorrow the moist onshore winds will continue blowing in off the ocean. They will converge with the westerly winds sweeping across the Plains over the Great Dividing Range and we will see showers develop over the coast, eastern slopes and mountains.
The trough causing the convergence will clear by Sunday taking the wet weather with it for a fine second half of the weekend along the coast and Hunter.
