Macleay Valley has claimed this year’s Group-3 Rugby League premiership, after a thrilling win over Wauchope at the Lank Bain Complex this afternoon.
The Mustangs led 18-14 at the break, before the two sides went try-for-try in the second half.
At full time, the scores were locked at 24-all.
Then, in extra time, the Mustangs pulled ahead thanks to a field goal from Anthony Cowan.
