LAKE MACQUARIE STANDS FIRM ON OPPOSITION TO AMALGAMATION

Lake Macquarie Council says it remains vehemently opposed to any amalgamation with Newcastle.

It’s called on the state government to abandon moves for such a merger, despite the offer of a big financial incentive.
