Greens MLC Jan Barham has referred the proposed West Byron development to the Independent Commission Against Corruption.
She believes it’s classification as a state significant project in 2009, which removed council control over the proposal – may have been misguided.
The 108-hectares of land on Ewingsdale Road is currently being considered by Planning Minister Pru Goward for a large-scale housing and industrial estate.
