Three more people have been charged after two police officers were allegedly bashed at Shoal Bay over the weekend.
The officers were attempting to arrest a man at around 2am on Sunday, when up to nine others allegedly assaulted them.
Three men – aged 19, 24 and 26 – were arrested yesterday and each charged with assault and resisting police.
They’ll face Raymond Terrace Local Court in December.
The arrests come after a 20-year-old man was charged over the incident on Sunday.
