PARKO WITHDRAWS FROM HAWAII COMP AFTER GRAZING REEF

The Gold Coast’s Joel Parkinson has withdrawn from the world cup of surfing, after coming into contact with the reef during a free surf.

Parko was surfing backdoor at the time, but will still compete in the season-ending event at Pipeline.
