COUNCIL TO DECIDE FUTURE OF POCKET PARKS

Newcastle’s new Lord Mayor is backing a community fight to save three so-called pocket parks from being sold.

The future of the land, as well as three vacant blocks, will be decided at this week’s council meeting.
