There’s been a tragic end to 2014, with two people killed in a car crash north of Taree.
The man and woman were travelling north along the Pacific Highway at Moorland just before 2pm, when their car left the road, hit a barrier and rolled down an embankment.
Police say fatigue may have been a factor in the crash.
Motorists have been warned to expect delays, with one northbound lane closed.
