FOUR PEOPLE TO FACE COURT – ACCUSED OF TRYING TO STOP POLICE ASSISTING MAN HIT BY TRAIN

Four people, accused of trying to stop paramedics and police from helping a man who had been hit by a train in Taree last month, will appear in court in February.

Police have charged a man, woman and two teenage girls, after they allegedly verbally and physically abused emergency workers as they attended to an 18-year-old man, whose legs had been severed by a train.

All four will face court on February 24.
