The Newcastle Ocean Baths have been emptied today, after a deadly blue-ringed octopus washed into the water.
Council says the baths will be cleaned tomorrow before a site inspection is carried out to ensure the octopus is removed.
The small species may look beautiful, but it can inject a toxin which can paralyse and kill a human.
