Photographers have captured some stunning photos of the Aurora Australis, which has put on a spectacular show across the southern states over the past few nights.
The good news is the Bureau of Meterology believes there could still be one more chance to see the pink, red and green lights on Thursday.
Forecaster Phillip Maher says it’s likely to hit around 8am, but it may arrive earlier.
The lights are caused by a burst of magnetic energy from the sun that enters the earth’s magnetic field through the poles.
