DAVID ELAND BECOMES NEWCASTLE JETS INTERIM CEO

Football Federation Australia has sacked Jets CEO Mitchell Murphy, just six months after he was appointed by Nathan Tinkler.

The governing body says the move was made with potential new owners in mind.
