Five emerging Jets players have been named in the Young Matildas squad for the Asian confederation’s under-19 Women’s Championship, to be held in China.
The tournament doubles as the qualifier for the under-20 Women’s World Cup, which will be held in Papua Guinea next year.
Hannah Southwell, Brooke Miller, Clare Wheeler and Sophie Nenadovic all have W-League experience.
They leave on Thursday for a six day camp, with their first match against Japan taking place on August 18.
