FIRE FIGHTERS BATTLE BLAZE AT SALT ASH

Fire fighters are continuing to monitor a bushfire, which started this morning in thick scrub at Salt Ash in Port Stephens.

While the cause of the fire is still to be determined, initial investigations suggest it may have been deliberately lit.
