A full scale police search is underway near West Wallsend, as part of the investigation into the suspicious disappearance of Lake Macquarie man Christopher Daunt.
Police began a search at Killingworth at around 10 o’clock this morning, with all-terrain vehicles, dirt bikes and PolAir involved.
The 27-year-old was last seen on March 29 in North Lambton, where he was visiting a friend.
His family raised the alarm when they didn’t hear from him and he failed to return to his Gateshead home.
On Monday Lake Macquarie police established a strike force to investigate his disappearance.
