BAIRD’S BUY-BACK OF PEL 445, NOW IN DOUBT

In the lead up to the state election, the coalition promised to buy back a controversial petroleum exploration licence, which covers much of Lismore and the Clarence Valley.

But on Thursday the Baird government closed the scheme – and PEL 445 remains in the hands of mining services provider AJ Lucas Group.

    As Journalists and reporters, you cant let Baird and The National Party esp Thomas George get away with lying to the constituents and forfeiting their election campaign promises. Thomas George got re-elected by the skin of his teeth (and only via preferences) solely because he, Troy Grant and Kevin Hogan all said that The National Party would buy back the PELs. So, BUY THEM BACK…NOW
