HOT WATER SYSTEM THOUGHT TO HAVE SPARKED HOUSE FIRE NEAR TAMWORTH

Police say a gas hot water system may have caused a fire that destroyed a home near Tamworth yesterday afternoon.

Firefighters worked for hours to contain the blaze, but they were unable to save the homestead.
