Jets skipper, Nigel Boogaard, is on track to return to the pitch this weekend, after completing a solid workout at training this morning.
Boogaard was back running today, after suffering an ankle injury two weeks ago.
Coach Scott Miller predicted last week he would return for this Sunday’s clash against Melbourne City.
And it’s set to be a big day of football at Hunter Stadium, with the first double header taking place in the history of the Jets.
The local W-League side will take on Melbourne City, ahead of the A-League match at 5pm.
