Since September this year, Central Coast police have executed 12 search warrants, arrested 10 people, and laid 30 charges for a range of crimes including drug supply and firearm offences.
The search warrants were executed following information received through Crime Stoppers.
During the searches, police allegedly seized:
– 391 cannabis plants
– Cash
– Three handguns
– Ammunition
– Stolen property, including power tools and jewellery
The cannabis plants have an estimated street value of $1.2 million.
Police say the results demonstrate the role the public plays in investigating crime, and encourage anyone with information about any suspicious behaviour to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
