ANOTHER STAR PERFORMANCE FOR BEN SIMMONS AT LSU

Hunter-bred basketballer Ben Simmons has helped his college side maintain its unbeaten record at home, as Louisiana State beat the Golden Eagles 100 points to 77.
Simmons had limited impact in the first half because of an ongoing back complaint, but he came alive after the break, at one stage scoring 11 straight points.

The Australian finished with 24 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists, as LSU improved its record to six wins and four losses.
