AMPHETAMINES FOUND IN TWO SEPARATE VEHICLE SEARCHES ON THE CENTRAL COAST

Police allegedly located amphetamines during searches of two separate vehicles on the Central Coast.

About 1:45pm on Friday, officers pulled over a green Holden Commodore in Woolana Avenue at Halekulani.

During a search of the vehicle, amphetamines and drug paraphernalia were allegedly found.

The 24-year-old male driver was arrested and charged with supplying and possessing a prohibited drug, and breach of bail.

At about 8pm the same day, police pulled over a silver Holden Commodore on Wyong Road at Berkeley Vale.

Police allegedly located methylamphetamine and cash during a search of the vehicle. The 44-year-old driver from Killarney Vale was arrested and charged with supplying and possessing a prohibited drug, and dealing with suspected proceeds of crime.

He was refused bail and is due to appear in court in March.
