Macy Callaghan has advanced to Round Six at Surfest.
In challenging onshore conditions, the Avoca teenager posted the highest individual score – an 8.77, finishing second behind Frenchwoman Johanne Defay, with former World Junior Champion Laura Enever eliminated from the contest.
Callaghan will now face Victorian Nikki Van Dijk….with the winner guaranteed a Quarter-Final berth.
