VAN EGMOND ON TARGET IN MATILDAS DRAW WITH CHINA

The Matildas have finished the Olympic Qualifying tournament in Japan undefeated after securing a one-all draw with China overnight.
The Chinese hit the front early, before the Hunter’s Emily van Egmond drew Australia level with a spectacular strike in the last 10 minutes.
“Van Egmond! Oh what a belter!”
The Matildas finished on top of their group, adding to the belief they can medal in Rio.
