A critical incident investigation has begun in Lismore this morning, following the death of a man in a house after a 39 hour siege.
A police operation commenced in East Lismore around 4:30pm on Wednesday afternoon, where nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution.
A 33-year-old man was found deceased shortly after 7:30am this morning, after a firearm was discharged inside the home.
