VEHICLE SEARCH REVEALS DRUGS BOOTY ON THE CENTRAL COAST

Central Coast police have allegedly uncovered a stash of illicit drugs, following a search of a car last night.

Police say they were alerted to the vehicle, parked at Springfield, after witnessing one man approach it and speak with a person inside.

Officers then conducted a search of the vehicle, allegedly uncovering four bags of cannabis, heroin, methylamphetamine and 25 tablets.

The driver, a 48-year-old man has been charged with drug supply and possession.

A 46-year-old man who allegedly approached the vehicle was issued with a court attendance notice for drug possession.
