Angourie’s Chris Zaffis has taken out the Mentawai Pro in Indonesia.
The 18-year-old claimed victory over Indonesian surfing legend Dede Suryana, with a near-perfect score of 19.25.
It’s Zaffis’ first event win in the qualifying series, and the biggest win of his career so far.
