A huge rain band is streaming in from the NW and is set to deliver solid falls across a large swathe of the nation. Over the weekend northerly wind will prevail locally as the cloud increases. The rain band will begin to move in late Sunday across the far west spreading to the rest of the region on Monday. Rain totals will be very small east of the Divide.
