Detectives have charged a 48-year-old Gateshead man, after he allegedly indecently assaulted a little girl on a bus this week.
The six-year-old was travelling home from school at Waratah on Wednesday, when she was approached by a man.
Police allege he indecently assaulted her.
The 48-year-old was arrested at a shopping centre in Charlestown this morning.
He’s been granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Belmont Local Court next month.
