After adding a number of big names in the off-season, the Mariners are trialling Kwabena Appiah and Max Burgess.
24 year-old Appiah, known for his blistering pace, was part of the club’s original Youth Team in 2011, and has made over 40 A-League appearances with the Western Sydney Wanderers and Wellington.
Meanwhile Burgess featured for the Jets last season, as well as Sydney FC’s youth set-up.
