Winter is usually dominated by westerly winds which make for some very cold mornings, even for coastal communities.
This weekend we will see a rare onshore shift develop along the entire east coast. This will help ease the icy cold temperatures.
Partly cloudy skies will develop and there’ll be very isolated showers mostly for the northern NSW and south east QLD coasts.
It’s set to remain fine inland with early morning frosts easing.
