Construction of a new recreational area at Lighthouse Beach in Port Macquarie will get underway next week.
Tacking Point Lions Club is behind the project – which includes exercise and play equipment, picnic shelters and an ocean viewing platform.
The facelift will occur in four stages, and is expected to take up to a year to complete.
