JETS ENJOY 4-0 RESULT AGAINST EAGLES IN PRE-SEASON HIT-OUT

The Newcastle Jets have put a horror week off the pitch behind them, belting NPL champions Edgeworth four-nil today in a pre-season friendly.

Still reeling from the sacking of head coach Scott Miller, the A-League club did most of the attacking.

Andrew Nabbout set up Morten Nordstrand with an early chance.

The Danish import then earned Newcastle a penalty.

Andrew Hoole stepped up to score the first of his two goals.

Nabbout was involved again as the Jets scored a second.

His cross eventually found Hoole, who teed up Devante Clut.
