There was a special treat for the Hunters women today, given a civic reception by Lord Mayor Nuatali Nelmes, in honour of their first-ever Waratah Championship title.
In great news for Newcastle, Mark Gledson has committed to coaching the side again next year.
American import Shannon Novosel has also been offered a new contract, and is expected to return in 2017.
