PILLIOIN PASSENGER AIRLIFTED AFTER CRASH IN BARRINGTON TOPS

A woman is recovering in John Hunter Hospital, after coming off a motorbike in the Barrington Tops.

The 55-year-old – who was a pillion passenger – was airlifted by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter this afternoon.

She injured her pelvis in the accident and is in a stable condition.

Last night, a 49-year-old man was flown to the John Hunter following another motorbike accident, this one at Nowendoc, south east of Tamworth.

He suffered chest and internal injuries.
