BYRON COUNCIL SAYS IT DOESN’T SUPPORT SHARK NETS

Byron Shire Council has voted not to support the trial of shark nets on its beaches, instead opting for non-lethal mitigation measures.

It comes on the same day Ballina Shire Council voted to publicly support nets on as many as six of its beaches.
