Police are investigating after a crash between two trucks yesterday in far north NSW.
Shortly after 12:30pm on Friday, emergency services responded to reports a prime mover travelling on the M1 had crashed into a second prime mover which was parked in the emergency lane near Clothiers Creek, about 20km east of Murwillumbah.
The first truck burst into flames, which was extinguished by Fire & Rescue NSW.
The 47-year-old male driver of the parked vehicle was not in the vehicle at the time and was not injured.
The driver of the moving vehicle, a 36-year-old man, was taken to hospital with scratches and a minor neck injury.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
