Larger than expected crowds turned out for the Ballina Prawn Festival today.
There was something for everyone, with kids competing in sandcastle building on the foreshore, and adults making the most of the delicious food on offer.
There was no shortage of rides for the young and young at heart, and for the more creatively inclined, a raft building contest.
