Newcastle Airport is marking a milestone, notching up record passenger numbers last month.
113,970 passengers passed through the airport, that’s a two per cent increase on the previous mark, set back in October 2010.
Airport management says the month is typically a bumper time, with solid business travel numbers boosted by school holidays, the long weekend and this year, the start of spring racing in Melbourne.
