These dogs did the same thing back in November! They were removed from Pelican Island by Brisbane Water Police and Maritime! Initially the dogs were reported as ‘missing’ and ‘friendly’ on a Facebook page, they were returned to the owners back in November and were obviously not fined, or fined heavily enough…they didn’t take it seriously enough…look at the terrible consequences!

This report is simply untrue. The residents were the ones who rescued the dogs, phoned the police, water police and rangers. If it wasn’t for the residents, the dogs would’ve done far more damage. The lady in the picture was the one who phoned the police and assisted in rescuing the dogs. They were not her dogs, nor did she have anything to do with the man in the photo. The lady interviewed verbally abused all the residents that were trying to assist in any way they could. She later admitted that she was wrong and apologised, only to say the same thing in an interview a day later.
These are the facts. Not what was reported.

This is not the dogs fault. It is the owners. They should be jailed and fined and have the dogs taken off them.

The undercover cull of all the local duck families in woy woy that was never reported, now this!!! This is a disgrace!!! Tourists flock to the woy woy co-op every weekend just to visit the pelicans and ducks! Disgraceful, so very sad!! More needs to be done to protect this wildlife.

the person who took the footage at the time posted on a central coast lost and found animal site and the owner of the dogs said who he was and that he would go down and get them.
