A woman in her 20s has died in a horrific multiple car crash on the Central Coast this afternoon.
Four cars collided on the Motorway Link, at the intersection of Blue Haven Way at Doyalson.
A male in his 20s has been airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition with multiple injuries.
The Motorway Link is closed and diversions are in place and drivers are urged to avoid the area.

I witnessed this terrible accident today. Doing all i could to help the injured and the deceased, i wish i could have done more.
This tragedy should never have happened!
This intersection needs traffic lights or at least a merging lane for traffic to turn right safely from blue haven way.
My heart is breaking for the young man i sat with while emergency services arrived and for the young lady’s family and friends. My thoughts are with you x
