TEENAGER CHARGED OVER FATAL WAMBERAL CRASH

A teenager will face court tomorrow, charged over a car crash on the Central Coast last year, which claimed the life a 17-year-old boy.

Emergency services were called to the crash on Willoughby Road at Wamberal on July 17, to find a car had smashed into a power pole.

A 17-year-old passenger was treated by paramedics but couldn’t be saved, while a 16-year-old boy was taken to Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition.

The 17-year-old driver has now been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death/drive manner dangerous and negligent driving occasioning death.
