A man has appeared in court after allegedly lighting a bushfire on the Central Coast.
Shortly after 12am this morning, emergency services were called to a bushfire on Mangrove Creek Road, Mangrove Creek.
The fire was extinguished and no buildings were damaged, other than vegetation.
No one was injured during the incident.
A 40-year-old man was arrested at the scene and charged with setting fire to land during total fire ban, and intentionally cause fire and be reckless as to its spread.
