FIVE INJURED IN TUMBI UMBI COLLISION

Five people, including two children, were injured in a car crash on the Central Coast.

Emergency services were called to Eastern Road at Tumbi Umbi just after 5pm yesterday, after three cars had collided.

The driver of a Holden Commodore – a 30-year-old man – was taken to Westmead Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Two young girls who were travelling with him were taken to Westmead’s Children’s Hospital with broken arms.

The two other female drivers were also hospitalised, one with non-life threatening injuries and the other with minor injuries.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
