POLICE BADGE AND DRUGS ALLEGEDLY UNCOVERED DURING R.B.T. STOP

A man will face court next month after he was allegedly found in possession of a police badge and a quantity of drugs near Lake Macquarie.

Just before 7pm last night, police stopped a vehicle on Main Road in Argenton as part of an RBT operation.

Police conducted a search, and allegedly located more than 10g of Ice and a quantity of Valium. on a 24-year-old male.

Police further allege they found a NSW Police warrant card and badge wrapped in a tea towel in the vehicle.

A 24-year-old man was charged with supplying and possessing a prohibited drug, possessing a prescribed restricted substance, and goods in custody.
