ANOTHER FATALITY ON HUNTER ROADS AS MOTORCYCLIST KILLED IN WOODVILLE

A motorcyclist has been killed after his vehicle collided with a turning vehicle near Maitland.

Just before 6pm yesterday, a BMW motorcycle was travelling along Clarence Town Road in Woodville, when it crashed into a Holden Statesman that was turning into a driveway.

The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike and sustained significant injuries.

The rider, believed to be a male in his 40’s, was taken to John Hunter Hospital but was pronounced dead.

The 52-year-old male driver of the Holden was uninjured. He was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
