Heavy rain in Ourimbah transformed Burns Road into a makeshift water park for these children today.
Levels reached just under a metre in the low lying stretch of road, which is notorious for flooding.
It wreaked havoc for local SES crews, with many drivers taking their chances.
“there was a flood rescue at about 5 o’clock this morning where a person got stuck in their vehicle which we had to extract and there is a tractor that also managed to get stalled in there this morning as well,” SES Allan Benson said.
With more rain expected tomorrow- SES crews are pleading with the community to act responsibly.
